Timetable changes and new routes [October 1, 2025]

Thank you for using Wakayama Bus.

The timetable will be revised and new routes will be introduced starting with the first bus on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

Please check the new operating times before using the service.

For details, please check the bus timetable posted at each stop.

Kansai Wakayama route search will be updated to reflect the new timetable effective from October 1st onwards by around 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 24th.

Main changes

①Increased service between Nankai Wakayamashi Station and JR Wakayama Station

　We will be increasing the number of buses running between Nankai Wakayamashi Station and JR Wakayama Station (lines 0 and 15) in the morning and evening.

②Changes in departure and arrival times at some bus stops

  Bus arrival and departure times will be changed at some bus stops.

*New timetables and route maps will not be posted at bus stops that have not changed, and will remain as they were on April 7, 2025.

③Establishment of new routes

  The following routes will be established.

  ・162  route (one way only)

      JR WAKAYAMA STA.→AROCHI→KITANOSHINCHI→MIKIMACHI SHINTŌRI→MIKIMACHI→

      YAKATAMACHI→OKAYAMACHŌ→KENCHŌ MAE→SHIYAKUSHO MAE→KŌEN MAE NISHI→

      WAKAYAMAJŌ　MAE→MIKIMACHI SHINTŌRI→KITANOSHINCHI→AROCHI→JR WAKAYAMA STA.

  ・6 route (round trip)

     WAKAURANISHI→WAKAURA→TSUYA→IDAIBYŌIN MAE→KIMIIDERAJŪTAKU MAE→KIMIIDERA→

     NAGUSASHŌGAKKŌ MAE→NUNOHIKI→NUNOHIKIMINAMI→KYŌGIJŌ MAE→HAMANOMIYA→

     KOTONOURA→KUROE→HIGASHIHAMA→HIKATA→HIKATAMINAMI→KAINAN STA.
